Draft notice: these policies are awaiting legal review and may change before launch.
1. Terms of ServiceGive us accurate information, keep your account secure, and use CorperSpace lawfully and responsibly. You're responsible for your account and what happens on it.
By creating an account or using CorperSpace you agree to these Terms of Service and the Platform Policies on this page. CorperSpace is an independent platform for Nigerian NYSC corps members and is not owned or operated by the National Youth Service Corps.
- Provide accurate and current information when you register and keep it up to date. If you say you are a corps member, the corps details you give must be your own.
- Keep your password confidential and tell us promptly if you think your account has been accessed without your permission.
- You are responsible for everything done through your account, including listings, messages, payments and advertisements.
- Use CorperSpace only for lawful purposes and in line with these policies.
2. Listings and User ConductListings must be honest and lawful. No fraud, misleading, illegal, harmful, discriminatory or prohibited content. We can remove listings and restrict or suspend accounts that break the rules.
You must not post content that is fraudulent, misleading, illegal, harmful, discriminatory or otherwise prohibited. Your listing must accurately describe what you are offering, including its condition, price, location and availability, and must be in the right category.
- Do not list items or services you do not have, cannot lawfully sell, or do not intend to provide.
- Do not use photos you do not have the right to use, or that misrepresent the item.
- Do not post content that discriminates against, harasses or threatens others.
- Do not list anything that is illegal in Nigeria or that we tell you is not allowed on CorperSpace.
CorperSpace may remove listings, restrict features, or suspend accounts that violate these rules, and may do so without prior notice where we reasonably think it is needed to protect users or the platform.
3. Payments and No-Refund PolicyPayments for listing fees, subscriptions, extensions, boosts, featured placements and other digital services are final and non-refundable once completed — including for unused time.
Payments for listing fees, subscriptions, listing extensions, boosts, featured placements and other digital services are final and non-refundable once payment is completed.
Deleting a listing, removing an advertisement, cancelling a subscription, or choosing not to use a paid service does not entitle you to a refund, including a refund for unused time.
- Payments are processed by Paystack. Review the amount and what you are buying before you pay.
- Paid services start when payment is confirmed and run for the period stated at purchase.
Exceptions: nothing in this policy limits any right you have under applicable law, and we will respect any refund or remedy that the law requires. As a matter of good practice we also intend to correct genuine errors on our side — for example, a duplicate charge, or a payment taken where the paid service was not delivered because of a fault on CorperSpace. [LEGAL REVIEW: confirm this good-practice exception is wanted.]
To raise a payment problem, contact us using the details on the Terms page and include your payment reference.
4. Advertiser PolicyAds must be truthful, lawful and meet platform requirements. Advertising payments are non-refundable, even if you remove your ad early. We can reject or remove ads that break the rules.
Advertisers must make sure their advertisements are truthful, lawful and comply with platform requirements, including the Advertising Policy page.
Advertising payments are non-refundable, even if an advertiser deletes, withdraws or removes an advertisement before its scheduled expiry. You can remove your ad at any time from My Ads; it stops showing immediately, and no refund or credit is given for the unused period.
CorperSpace may reject or remove advertisements that violate its policies without compensation, subject to applicable law.
Advertisers agree to the Advertising Policy when they create an account and again when they buy an ad.
5. Marketplace and TransactionsCorperSpace helps you find listings and connect with other users. We are not a party to your deals — verify listings yourself and be careful with money and personal details.
CorperSpace helps users discover listings and connect with other users. Unless we explicitly state otherwise, CorperSpace does not act as a buyer, seller, landlord, tenant or intermediary in any transaction.
- Independently verify listings, sellers and items before you pay.
- Be cautious about paying in advance, sharing personal or financial information, or meeting strangers. Meet in safe public places where you can.
- You are responsible for your own agreements and transactions with other users.
If something looks like a scam, report it using the report button on the listing.
6. Prohibited ActivitiesNo scams, impersonation, spam, harassment, account abuse, unauthorised access, listing manipulation, malicious activity, or bypassing our security or payment systems.
You must not:
- run scams or otherwise try to defraud other users or CorperSpace;
- impersonate another person, the NYSC, a government body or a business;
- send spam or unsolicited promotions, or harass other users;
- create multiple or fake accounts to abuse free credits, ratings or listings, or share or sell accounts;
- access, or try to access, accounts, systems or data you are not authorised to;
- manipulate listings, ratings, impressions or clicks;
- upload malware or carry out any malicious activity; or
- try to bypass platform security or payment systems, including avoiding fees for paid services.
7. Content and Intellectual PropertyYou're responsible for what you post and must have the rights to it. You let us host and show it to run and promote CorperSpace. Our brand and software can't be copied.
You remain responsible for the content you submit (listings, photos, descriptions, advertisements and messages) and must have all the rights needed to publish it.
You give CorperSpace permission to host, display and distribute your content as reasonably necessary to operate and promote the platform — for example, showing your listing in search results, on social media or in promotional material for CorperSpace. You keep ownership of your content.
CorperSpace's name, logo, branding, software and platform materials belong to CorperSpace or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced or exploited without authorisation.
8. Account Suspension and TerminationWe may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts or end access for policy breaches, fraud, security risks or unlawful conduct, as the law allows.
CorperSpace may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts or terminate access where there is a policy violation, fraud, a security risk or unlawful conduct, subject to applicable law.
Suspension or termination for a breach does not entitle you to a refund of any payment (see Payments and No-Refund Policy), subject to applicable law.
You may stop using CorperSpace at any time.
9. Privacy and DataWe handle your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy. Avoid posting sensitive personal details publicly.
Personal information is handled according to the CorperSpace Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and your choices. Read it at /privacy.
- Do not put sensitive personal information (such as ID numbers, bank or card details, or passwords) in listings, descriptions or photos, where anyone can see it.
- Your phone number and WhatsApp number are shown only according to the settings on your profile.
10. Limitation of LiabilityAs far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for user content, inaccurate listings, disputes between users, off-platform losses or temporary outages. We don't exclude liability the law doesn't let us exclude.
To the extent permitted by law, CorperSpace is not responsible for user-generated content, inaccurate listings, disputes between users, losses arising from transactions made off the platform, or temporary service interruptions.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
11. Policy UpdatesWe may update these policies as CorperSpace grows. We'll tell you about material changes and ask you to accept again where the law requires.
CorperSpace may update these policies as the platform evolves. The version and date of the current policies are shown on this page.
If we make a material change, we will communicate it appropriately (for example, by email or a notice in the app) and will ask you to accept the updated policies again where legally required. Until you do, you may be unable to post listings, make payments or buy advertising.
CorperSpace is an independent platform and is not owned or operated by the National Youth Service Corps.
